20+ years closing enterprise deals at Uber, Lime, Ford, Gopuff, and GreenLite — now helping early-stage founders build the sales motions, revenue orgs, and BD strategies that get them to the next round.
I help founders and early leadership teams translate product-market fit into repeatable enterprise revenue. I joined Uber in 2014 as employee #473 — referred through Google Ventures to serve on the founding team that built and commercialized Uber for Business from scratch, scaling it toward $1B in Gross Bookings during my tenure. The platform has continued to scale, now exceeding $5B in annualized Gross Bookings across 300,000+ organizations globally.
Before Uber, I started in banking at JPMorgan before co-founding a gluten-free dessert brand (AMEX Top 10 Small Businesses, 2012) that scaled to $7M+ with wholesale clients (Whole Foods, Williams Sonoma, Virgin America, All Nippon Airways), national ecommerce, and international franchises.
From there: Head of Global Enterprise Sales at Lime during 100M-ride growth; VP of Global Sales at Ford's Chariot subsidiary; Senior Director at Gopuff where I more than doubled ad revenue; and most recently Head of Revenue at GreenLite, where I grew the active client base 5x in under a year.
Warren GTM Advisory is where all of that meets the founders building what comes next — early-stage teams that need enterprise-caliber GTM thinking without the enterprise overhead.
Georgetown McDonough, magna cum laude. London School of Economics. Twenty-plus years at companies from Series A through pre-IPO.
I work with early-stage founders and growth-stage teams who need enterprise-caliber GTM thinking without a full-time exec. Hands-on, no-fluff, focused on what actually moves the number.
From ICP definition and segmentation to sales process design, channel selection, and pricing — I help early-stage teams build a GTM foundation that holds up under the pressure of actually scaling it.
Embedded advisory for founders at inflection points — building your first sales org, hiring your first rep, entering a new market, or preparing for a fundraise. I've been in the room on all of it.
Helping early-stage companies land their first enterprise logos and strategic partnerships — the kind that validate the model, unlock distribution, and make the next fundraise a different conversation.
Comp design, pipeline strategy, and forecasting direction — with trusted sales ops partners brought in for deep CRM and modeling builds. The goal: leadership visibility and a clear path to quota for every rep.
Excerpts from partners, peers, and former teammates.
Michael consistently delivered at first-class levels — a gifted negotiator with a powerful combination of patience, intelligence, and communication skills. A natural leader who’s not only interested in growing the bottom line; he makes his team members shine.
Michael and I were part of the founding Uber for Business team — together, we built a sales org that scaled globally. He always came to the table with creative, scrappy solutions in hyper growth mode, and was thoughtful about the balance of building for scale and moving fast.
Michael is a great builder and leader. At Lime, he built strategy across multiple verticals — Real Estate, Universities, Corporations — and helped launch the German market with strategic partners like Deutsche Telekom. He develops process and structure, finds talent, and motivates teams.
